Please be smart and make sure you are dealing with the heat in appropriate ways. Drink plenty of water and water. On July 14, 2011 the National Weather Service declared Heat Warnings for 14 states. Oklahoma has had 27 days of temperatures over 100 degrees. Excessive heat is the biggest weather killer on average, with 115 deaths each year.
Take precautions, have plenty of water with you. Stay inside if at all possible and check on your neighbors, especially those who may not have air conditioning in their homes.
