As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, it is always a great time to remember those farmers who provide the food we have on our table.

“Way too many times, we only hear about the recalls and regulations facing the food industry. If we really look at agriculture and food production closely, we will really see that it is one of the most progressive, innovative industries in our country.  Each day, I have more appreciation for the work and labor that farmers and growers take to grow produce and manage livestock all for the sake of feeding the people in this country.  It  is an awesome task that  is performed by a very small population of people.  Take some time this Thanksgiving to read some stories from the Agriculture Community. There are hundereds of blogs  and videos out there to select from. I learn the most from the personal videos, because their stories are written from the heart and they live and breathe their work everyday”  The least I can do is respect their work and learn more about what they do.” ~ Brent Pohlman, November 22, 2011.

The people on the AgChat Foundation are encouraging individuals and companies to be a part of the #foodthanks campaign this year.
