I came across this article, “Report: Wastewater preferable to wasting water”
Many communities reuse wastewater for irrigation and industrial purposes. Some — notably Cloudcroft, N.M., and California’s Orange County — have treatment facilities to reuse it as drinking water.
The article points to water reuse as a viable option to working with water scarcity. Many public drinking water utilities reuse water and waste water along the river.
I think the article does a good job of presenting the idea of water recycling. More process should be in place to help keep water a sustainable resource in our country. I believe we have the proper engineering and science today to create new technologies to help develop new water recycling programs.
