Actions are being taken by homeowners, growers and businesses are taking drastic actions to conserve the current water that exists. This part of the country desparately needs rain. This year Los Angeles had 0.0 inches of rain for the month of January. Such an incident has only ocurred 5 times in the last 150 years.

Water may need to be imported into parts of the country if this drought continues much longer.
