This document will allow you to convert a Midwest Labs lime recommendation based on pounds of 90% ECCE lime to a recommendation in tons of ag lime using your lime product’s % Effective Calcium Carbonate Equivalent or Effective Neutralizing Material. Lime rates are based on six-inch incorporation. Lime applications should be reduced if the incorporation is less than six inches.
