Building for the Future: Midwest Laboratories Begins New Campus Expansion at the Former InfoGroup Building in Papillion, NE.
OMAHA, NE – April 8th, 2026 – Midwest Laboratories, a leading independent agricultural, food safety, and environmental testing laboratory, proudly begins the demolition and renovation process for its groundbreaking new, state-of-the-art Animal Nutrition Laboratory which includes innovative chemistry and microbiology lab facilities. This expansion, after 50 years of business, marks a significant milestone in its history of providing high-quality analytical services to clients nationwide. CEO, Brent Pohlman looks to build upon the legacy of Midwest Labs with a new center for excellence in food safety testing. 
This new, cutting-edge chemistry and microbiology facility will be one of the largest Animal Nutrition Laboratories in the country. It will be an innovative facility with state-of-the-art instrumentation, enhanced method development, and expanded capacity for food and pet food analysis.

The Animal Nutrition Laboratory is set to be operational in 2027 with future development plans ongoing. This expansion comes as the latest growth initiative for the company resulting in a 10-building campus in the Omaha metro, a chemistry and microbiology lab in Fremont and now extension into the Papillion area. The family-owned company currently employs over 300 people and expects to create even more jobs with the latest expansion.
